The 41stAnnual AAML Institute will be held on May 3 and 4, 2019. Once again, the Institute will be hosted at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes.
In 2018, the AAML modified the format of the Institute, to rave reviews. The exciting new format will continue in 2019. For the first day of the Institute, Attendees will be assigned to smaller groups and rotate through separate lectures which are intended to be more interactive and provide a hands-on learning environment. The use of smaller groups in “classrooms” allows Attendees to obtain more in-depth information from the presenters, for a more direct and interactive learning style.
In 2019, Attendees will learn how to analyze and prepare a case like the best lawyers in Florida. At the beginning of the first day, Attendees will receive a single fact pattern describing the essential facts of a case. Attendees will rotate through the classrooms to discuss and learn how to prepare and present each separate issue contained in the fact pattern. The separate classrooms will include distinguished lawyers and experts, reviewing a specific area of the case. The classrooms will include discussion of substantive law, as well as, the procedural aspects of preparing the case for settlement and trial. By the end of the day, Attendees will have discussed each issue presented and each Attendee will be ready to take on the next large contested, complex dissolution action.
As tradition, the second day of the seminar will be a half day lecture format with renowned speakers on current and cutting-edge family law issues to supplement knowledge and further the legal practice.
